A Manheim township girl is currently facing charges after the death of her sister.

At 1 a.m. Monday morning, the Manheim Township Police Department responded to a 911 call from Claire Elaina Miller where she reported that she had killed her sister.

Miller brought officers to a bedroom where they had found her older sister, Helen M. Miller, 19, with a fatal stab wound to the neck.

According to a release, officers and EMS were unsuccessful in attempting lifesaving measures.

Miller was denied bail. She is currently being held in the Lancaster County Prison awaiting trial. Miller will be charged as an adult. She is currently facing charges of Felony Criminal Homicide.

Her preliminary hearing is currently scheduled for 02/26/21 before Judge David P. Miller.
