The Borough of Waynesboro has scheduled the ribbon cutting ceremony for the recently completed improvements on Mt. Airy Park on Hawbaker Avenue and Mt. Airy Avenue.
The improvements included 3 new bays of swings, a new slide, a full size basketball court and new fencing. Other features were also sent to Tom Shockey Collision to be repainted.
Before, the park had no swings, a half sized basketball court and no fencing.
These improvements were estimated to cost around $30,000.
The ribbon cutting ceremony is scheduled on Friday, November 6th at 4 PM.
